Accelerating Innovation

Fast Future supports and promotes the diverse communities of innovators in underserved areas of the United States. For decades, venture investment and startup activity in the US has been limited to a handful of cities. We believe the next phase of innovation investment will increasingly take place in cities and regions that have been overlooked, historically, by venture capital. These regions are home to some of the world's leading research universities, and this IP combined with recent federal dollars creates tremendous opportunities for talented individuals and smart capital.

We have thousands of readers who are interested in and actively investing in the cities and regions beyond Silicon Valley, NY, Boston, and LA. Our community of innovators includes entrepreneurs, VCs, university tech transfer and entrepreneurial leadership, and talent that is specifically looking to join promising start-ups. In addition, we have curated a group of experts and formed Advisory Councils in areas such as recruiting and HR, capital formation, governance, sales management, and across all areas of technology. We are uniquely positioned to facilitate relationships between the regional organizations and the expertise and resources they need to build sustainable innovation ecosystems.

Gov’t Investing Billions to Spur Innovation

Re: Federal Investment in Regional Innovation Opportunities

We are moving into the future fast. Innovative companies and startups, backed in many cases by university IP, will lead the way.

The Federal government, via the 2022 CHIPS and Science Act, has allocated $10bn for the development and growth of Regional Innovation Engines in traditionally underserved regions in the United States. While this is a truly massive effort, it isn’t the only federally backed initiative to spur innovation and entrepreneurship. In fact, the U.S. EDA has also allocated similar funds for their Regional Technology & Innovation Hubs and Build to Scale programs.

Collectively, these programs will be instrumental in the creation of scores of start-ups as well as in growing and sustaining the ecosystems to support them.

Now is the time to build relationships with these leading entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial organizations of the future as well as with the hundreds of universities who are aggressively pursuing ways to turn IP into successful businesses.
