Name that City! — January 28, 2021

Here’s a review of the questions:

  1. What city has the world’s largest bike museum?
  2. Festival seating was banned in what city in 1979, had a one day exemption in 2002, and then allowed for good in 2004?
  3. Actor Bill Murray is part owner of a minor league baseball team in what city?

And here are the answers:

  1. Pittsburgh, PA—Established in 1996, Bicycle Heaven is the largest transportation museum in the world dedicated to bicycles. The museum was founded by Craig Morrow and comprises his personal collection gathered over decades. Bikes from the museum have been featured in movies such as A Beautiful Mind and Super 8. Coolest of all? The museum has Pee-Wee Herman’s bike from the movie Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure!
  2. Cincinnati, OH—In 1979, 11 people were crushed to death during a performance by The Who. Festival seating was banned but allowed again for one day for a Springsteen concert. In 2004 the ban was lifted for good.
  3. St. Paul, MN—The St. Paul Saints, the triple-A affiliate for the Minnesota Twins, refers to Murray as its Team Psychologist.
