FUELING THE FUTURE: Built Technologies lands $125M | $10M for Iowa startups | Tech in OKC

NASHVILLE, TN—Construction finance platform Built Technologies announced $125 million in Series D funding at a valuation of $1.5 billion. Lead investor TCV, along with Brookfield Technology Partners, 9Yards Capital, XYZ Venture Capital and HighSage Ventures, will join existing investors.
COLUMBUS, OH—Software startup Aware has raised an additional $50.5 million, just nine months after a $12 million round. Aware develops software that analyzes waves of communication, such as Slack, Facebook Workplace and Microsoft Teams to detect security risks and analyze employee productivity and sentiment in real-time. Investors won’t be named until the fund closes.
OKLAHOMA CITY—The Oklahoma Catalyst Programs (OK Catalyst), part of the University of Oklahoma’s Tom Love Innovation Hub and five partner universities, received a $150,000 grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration to launch the Hub of the Heartland program. The one-year pilot program will expand OK Catalyst’s award-winning programs for startup support in Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri.
