3M announces an end to PFAS manufacturing by 2025
ST. PAUL, MN–3M announced it will exit per- and polyfluoroalkyl substance (PFAS) manufacturing and work to discontinue the use of PFAS across its product portfolio by the end of 2025. PFAS, also known as “Forever Chemicals,” are a large chemical family of more than 4,700 highly persistent chemicals that don’t occur in nature. PFAS are the most persistent synthetic chemicals to date, they hardly degrade in the natural environment, and have been found in the blood and breast milk of people and wildlife around the world.
Pole/Zero wins $54 million contract with Australian navy
DOWNERS GROVE, IL–Pole/Zero, part of MPG Solutions and Dover, was awarded a $53,544,462 contract to procure antenna interface units and communications trays, technical data, assemblies, subassemblies, and spares for the P-8A Poseidon communications suite in support of the navy, Foreign Military Sales customers and the government of Australia. The work will be performed in West Chester, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by October 2028. Pole/Zero analyzes, designs, builds and supports interference mitigation and spectral purification solutions for industrial and defense manufacturers and integrators of RF/microwave electronics.
Greif wins awards for social responsibility and sustainability

RoboTire announces partnership with Creamery Tire
DETROIT, MI–RoboTire, a Michigan-based robotics and automation startup that designs and deploys systems to change vehicles’ tires, announced a partnership with Creamery Tire Inc., a Detroit-owned and -operated tire service center founded in Pennsylvania. Creamery Tire is deploying RoboTire’s fourth-generation tire changing system at its location in a north Philadelphia suburb. The partnership between Creamery Tire, which offers customers a unique tire-buying experience, and RoboTire’s state-of-the-art systems using robotics, machine learning and artificial intelligence will improve the overall tire changing experience for customers in Pennsylvania.
